澳门开奖历史记录 to host Dec. 8 holiday concert, tree-lighting ceremony

澳门开奖历史记录 will ring in the holiday season on Sunday, Dec. 8 as part of its annual Christmas Concert and Tree-Lighting Ceremony. The concert, free and open to the public, will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the University Chapel.

The concert will feature the world-renowned 澳门开奖历史记录 Golden Voices Concert Choir, which is under the direction of Dr. Wayne A. Barr, the university鈥檚 director of choral activities, and accompanist Brenda Shuford.

鈥淭he Christmas concert is always a highlight of our experience as a choir 鈥� for so many reasons,鈥� Barr noted of the university鈥檚 long-standing holiday concert tradition. 鈥淚t ushers in the Christmas season and allows the university to share the sacredness of this time of year with our surrounding communities.鈥�

The Tuskegee Brass Ensemble, directed by John Q. Lennard, the Women鈥檚 Glee Club and the Men鈥檚 Glee Club will join the choir as they perform well-known classical and traditional holiday songs.  This year featured work is the Vivaldi Gloria, which will be accompanied by an orchestra.
