Let’s talk about benefits of exercising
Today, we’ll be talking about the one thing that we find most difficult to incorporate into our lifestyle – exercise. No matter how hard we try to maintain a steady exercise schedule, there are times when we just cannot find the motivation to snuggle out of the cozy blankets and get going. But here I am, with an entire post dedicated to how beneficial getting your daily dose of exercise is for your body! In fact, it is undoubtedly one of the first (and best) steps we all can take to kick-starting a healthy lifestyle. So maybe if we know all the benefits of exercising it can helps you to maintain a workout routine.
Coming back to the main question – why is exercise important? To understand the benefits of working out, the first thing we need to do is stop thinking of it as a burden. It is not easy to wake up every single day and push your body to work, and I totally agree with this fact.
There are times when I am unable to get myself moving too. But that very moment, when I finally decided that I will stop fretting over my workout, and enjoy every bit of my workout session, changed it all. I started looking forward to my yoga and fitness sessions and walks. Since then, there has been no turning back. And this change in attitude helped me a lot, and I’m hoping it will help you too!
Without wasting any time, let’s get started with the health benefits of exercise right away!
Beat the Blues
You drag yourself all sleepy for a run, but by the time you’re done, you’re all fresh and pumped up! And that is exactly what exercise does to you – it boosts your mood, drastically cutting down feelings of depression, anxiety, and stress.
The best part is that the intensity of your workout doesn’t matter at all. Any form of mild exercise too, releases happy hormones, and increases the production of endorphins in your body. I’m sure this fact is just the reason we have been looking for, to begin working out right away!
Let’s put it this way – exercise is just as important as mindful eating in a weight loss journey. Additionally, working out regularly boosts your metabolic rate, making it a lot easier for your body to lose weight!
Exercise not only ensures fat loss in the body but also maintains the muscle mass. Also, it is a lot difficult to burn off piled-up calories, which is why it is advisable to work out every day. In this way, we can lose our excess calories on a day-to-day basis.
Reduced Risk of Chronic Diseases
Our sedentary lifestyles, with no form of physical activity, is the primary cause why chronic diseases are on the rise. The health benefits of exercise are tremendous – right from regulating insulin sensitivity in the body to decreasing blood fat levels, a 30-minute workout can tackle it all!
Exercise also helps get rid of belly fat, which again, is the root cause of lifestyle ailments such as diabetes and heart diseases. Quitting exercise for even a short while can lead to piling up of fat around your abdomen. It is advisable we keep exercising as per our daily schedules, without missing out on a day to ensure this does not happen!
I’m hoping these exercise benefits would get you all motivated to start exercising right away! If you’re eager to start but feeling a bit reluctant to leave home just yet, why don’t you try with one of my favourite streaming workouts platform?

Pasterino has developed a firm ball that you wedge high up between your thighs; it’s designed to dig into the superficial layers of the fascia and help you work your glutes and feel your core. But if you just want to give it a try, you can filter for classes that require no props! Discover it here!
This online yoga video platform has both a website and a free mobile app. They offer a wide range of yoga series from world-class instructors and have an engaged online community to support you in your yoga journey.
