Who doesn’t like a good taco? I’m sure you love them as much as I do too. Mostly, people categorize tacos as junk food. Let’s talk about our new reciepe Mole Mushroom Tacos!
Personally, I am always on a lookout to convert popular recipes into their plant-based versions. So today, we will be talking about plant-based taco recipes. Now, the obvious question that would pop in your mind is this – what is the perfect plant-based tacos recipe? And I am here to answer this very question! While there are loads of vegan taco ideas out there, today, I will be sharing with you my favorite vegetarian street tacos recipe.
The star ingredients of this plant-based taco recipe are black beans and mushrooms – and we will be doing an insight into these two amazing ingredients before we head to the recipe. Let’s dive in!
Loaded with iron, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, zinc, and copper, black beans play an essential role in maintaining the structure, strength, and elasticity of bones and joints. Just like other beans, black beans, too, are low in sodium content, making them perfect for maintaining blood sugar levels. They have also been instrumental in regulating blood sugar levels as well as in warding off heart ailments.
The presence of selenium in black beans plays a vital role in the functioning of the liver. Selenium also works to flush out toxins as well as cancer-causing compounds from your body. High on fiber content, black beans help prevent constipation and maintain the health of your digestive tract too.
Lastly, black beans contain dietary fiber, which helps to accelerate weight loss. Now that’s the best reason why you need to include black beans in your tacos right away!
We have talked about mushrooms a lot lately, and we’re doing it again – because that’s how tasty and healthy they are. The best part about mushrooms is that they have this meat-like texture, which makes them an easy substitute for meat in many recipes. So if you’re used to having meat tacos and are worried about how a vegan taco will taste like, don’t worry at all!
Mushrooms have superb anti-inflammatory properties, which help boost your immune system. They are rich sources of potassium, a nutrient essential to maintain and regulate blood pressure levels. If raised with ample exposure to ultraviolet light, mushrooms can also be a fantastic source of vitamin D.
When it comes to choosing foods for everyday consumption, it’s best to opt for natural organic ingredients. These chemicals have no exposure to chemicals in any form, which means your intake of toxins will be drastically cut down too! If you’re able to grow stuff by yourself, there’s nothing like it! Even if you can’t, try incorporating more natural elements in your diet to live a healthier, more energetic lifestyle.
On that note, let’s hop onto the recipe of the high-protein vegetarian tacos!
