These cheeses will make the perfect pair!

Like the food recipes, this mocktail is also made of healthy, vegan ingredients. The eosia Spritz is a sparkly mocktail and tastes amazing as well. The three key ingredients in this mocktail are grapefruit, ginger, and pink pepper. Before I tell you the recipe to this delicious mocktail, let’s run you through why I’ve chosen these ingredients:

This tropical fruit with a refreshing fruit with sweet-ish sour taste is the soul of the eosia spritz! It is loaded with nutrients, antioxidants, and fiber and is one of the healthiest citrus fruits you can find out there. As it’s laden with fiber, grapefruit is super low in calories – which means you can binge on it without worrying about those extra kilos!

Grapefruits are also rich in 15 essential vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, vitamin A, potassium, magnesium, folate, and a lot more. Each of these contributes to different functions in our bodies – vitamin C is excellent for our skin and works as a wonderful natural antioxidant. Vitamin A is perfect for keeping our vision healthy.

Potassium helps regulate blood pressure and reduce water retention in our bodies as well. In addition, magnesium has amazing anti-inflammatory properties, helping us steer clear from illnesses caused due to chronic inflammation in the body.

Thanks to the amazing properties it offers, ginger is one of the most widely used spices in cuisines across the world. I’ve added ginger to this mocktail recipe to add a hint of spice to the Eosia spritz and also because of its excellent nutritional profile. The best part about ginger is that you can use it as you want to – raw, dried, powdered, or even as an oil, and it’s nutritional content stays more or less the same.

Ginger contains gingerol, which helps combat many common illnesses we often fall prey to – this includes an upset tummy, nausea, and even the common cold. It helps relieve indigestion and all the discomfort that comes with it. Ginger is loaded with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which help our bodies deal with chronic inflammation and oxidative stress respectively. This keeps illnesses such as Alzheimer’s disease, chronic ailments, and other degenerative illnesses at bay.

Ginger also plays an important role in weight loss – it helps reduce weight and regulates metabolism and blood insulin levels. Consumption of ginger is also linked to lower cholesterol levels, which cuts down our risk of falling prey to heart ailments. The gingerol in ginger can also help against different types of cancer, such as colorectal cancer, breast cancer, and ovarian cancer as well. It also helps to flush out toxins from the body too.

Pink Pepper

The texture and flavor of pink peppers is not like usual peppers – it is slightly spicy with a hint of sweetness. We need to be very careful using these peppers in food, as they can be slightly toxic if overused. But when used in proportion, the pink peppers add a lovely taste to different delicacies (also explains why they are used in a variety of recipes)

Pink peppers have natural antiseptic properties and are a great remedy for any type of infection – ranging from common cold to urinary tract infection. These tiny peppers can also help relieve menstrual pain, bronchitis, and rheumatism. Proper consumption of pink peppers also reduces anxiety and stress, promoting positive feelings in our minds.

The antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of pink pepper also help regulate blood sugar levels in our bodies. These peppers are also known to cut down our risk of falling prey to different types of cancer. The peppers also help flush out toxins from our bodies while promoting healthy cellular functioning.

We’re done with the numerous benefits each of these ingredients offer – so it’s time to hop onto the mocktail recipe. The best part of the Eosia spritz is that you can have it anytime you want, as it’s completely healthy and is infused with natural ingredients. And yes, when you pour it in those glasses, it looks appealing as well – bright and vibrant! So the next time you’re hosting friends or family over for lunch or dinner, don’t forget to add the Eosia spritz to the menu! Now let’s get started with the spring mocktail recipe:
