2024-25 FAFSA聽

As a result of the FAFSA Simplification Act of 2021, the 2024-25 FAFSA has been changed significantly to improve and expand access to student aid. Due to the number of changes, the FAFSA application was not available until December 2023. The Department of Education will begin to release FAFSA information to schools on a limited basis in mid-March 2024. The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships hopes to receive all of these FAFSAs by early April and begin any needed review and outreach.

Tuskegee will begin to load 2024-2025 FAFSA data in Mid-to-Late April

In mid-March, the Department of Education began sending small batches of 2024-25 FAFSA data to schools. To accommodate the additional time needed to process the backlog of financial aid applications we'll receive, we expect to be able to begin notifying students that Tuskegee has received their FAFSA in mid-April.

Updates for Students and Families:

If you haven't already,聽now is the time to submit your聽! The sooner you apply for aid, the sooner you'll receive your financial aid offer.

*We plan to begin sending aid offers within the timelines listed below to students who are admitted to Tuskegee and have completed the aid application process. However, these dates are subject to change as we receive new information from our software providers and the Department of Education.*

Here is what to expect over the next couple of months:

• Immediately (if you haven't already):聽Prospective聽undergraduate聽and聽graduate聽students should apply for financial aid for the 2024-25 academic year as soon as possible. The priority deadline for returning Tuskegee students to apply for aid has been April 15th.
• 惭颈诲-础辫谤颈濒:听We'll begin to notify students that we've received their 2024-25 FAFSA.
• Mid-to-Late April:聽We'll begin to notify students if any additional documentation is needed to process their application.
• Late April/Early May:聽We'll begin sending financial aid offers to new, admitted students who plan to start classes at Tuskegee in the fall.聽
• Early July:聽We'll begin sending financial aid offers to returning Tuskegee students.
